I feel the embrace of the fluffy clouds
And the wind that is playing with my hair
My ears try to catch the whistling winding sounds
The joy hidden in the ruffles of winter
A smile smothered in the sheets of my bed
A tear drop seeps into the foam of my pillow
And the eyes that look at the horizon
The veil of clouds adorn the angelic face
Fluttering lashes adoring the distant view
I twirl and turn like the lace
On the hem of my Barbie’s dress
The blurred vision and drowsy eyes
The mist that settles beautifully on the window pane
And the fragrant pollen trees
That stands silently across the lane
The numb the fingertips draw lines and curves
For the mind is in slumber
Lost in the dreamland far and away
The soul floats out of the body and reaches for the higher plane
And the I is lost in search of HIM
The joy, the fear, the solitude, the togetherness all mingled
the journey far, in the journey within, the journey eternal
all joy, all fear, all sorrow, all pain seems ephemeral

Travel light

its Diwali…the light…the candles…the prosperity…the merry making
its time to clear the clutter
its time to breathe freedom
from shackles to doubts
for there is space for one and only one
joy or doubt,
keep thy not together; for all they bring is sorrow
it’s a journey of a lifetime
carry what thy heart asks for
shed thy burdens sour
live light, let the wings open to take that heavenly flight
for the heights await you, thou traveller

Every minute the mind thinks of the next minute
Every step strides forward for the next step

Moment!

The winter sun is warming,
that sweet pink petal face of hers,
the chill in the air,
lights up her black eyes,
and everything settles,
upon the curve of her lips,
enchanted by God's creation,
thy grace holds his celebration,
the swooping eagle turns to a dot,
the fluttering leaves embrace,
that brown burnt bark, the twinkle of her anklets,

adds thy charm to environ,

behold thy moment serene, like my old cherished dream.

Wavering thoughts

I look outside the window
For the files on my table can wait
The computer screen can freeze
The tick tick of my keyboard can rest
The phone calls can be on a hold
the world can wait as I adore the tiny whites flying in the air…
as I breathe the chill
as I take the droplets and let them drench my soul
as I stare at the clouds and open my heart to fly
as I hear nothing but the music of the wind
as I transverse the realms of reality
to reach the unreached
to feel the unfelt
to speak the unspoken
to achieve the unachievable

Everyday we go on
Thinking, Working, Doing,
Forgetting something
Everyday we stand in front of the mirror
Put on the lipstick, Crib about extra pounds, flutter the eyes

Everyday we drive to the office
Work through the day, make hundred of decisions, confront problems

Everyday we head back home
See our family, talk to them, have our dinner

The road seems clear,
lined with trees of pear;
Life sometimes puzzles and appears mirage,
Else a white blank sheet to create your collage......
Lost tracks are found,old friends sought ,
The greatest worries just fly out;
For now there shall be no tears,
Giving way to sunlight as cobwebs clear.......
Self within refreshed,eyes gleam with hopes,
As soul frees itself from dangling ropes;
With open arms and many smiles,
I welcome the day because tday,

Deep and dark, I slid into the morass
The anbeience seemed deadly, everything alas!
Vengenance and Greed danced the floors
Vanity and enimity dished the tables
Sorrow and Grief accompanied the guest
Blackness shrouded the heart's desire
The glory burned on thepyre.
A spark fidled in this ask
The clouds parted in a flash!
Smiles and glow adorned pretty faces
Love and laughter lively played
Name and fame gigled around
Friends and family ran along
Rhythm and music played the sweetest song
Because clouds cannot hide the sun for long.
